Happy Earth Day 2016!

Next Friday, April 22nd is Earth Day. (Here at Emerald we believe EVERY day should be Earth Day, but we're happy to join in the April 22nd celebrations too!).

We'll be at Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek from 9am until 2pm on Earth Day to collect any unwanted electronics you'd like to drop off. Zoo admission is not required, but it looks like it will finally be spring in West Michigan and a great day to enjoy the Zoo!

In honor of Earth Day 2016, we'd like to share a little history:
Earth Day began in 1970 as a way to bring together environmental groups and people in communities across America to put the spotlight on the environment. Communities held events to raise awareness of environmental issues and how they can be prevented. Since the first Earth Day events in 1970 this day of recognition for environmental issues has spread across the globe.
