Why should I recycle?

Electronic products contain many hazardous elements like lead. Recycling them prevents these hazardous materials from going into landfills and potentially harming wildlife and contaminating our water supply. Recovering commodities like precious metals from electronic products is also much more energy efficient than mining for new precious metals, saving energy. Recycling also creates jobs.
